Cycle For Haylee Frequently Asked Questions
What is a "ticket captain"?
Ticket captains are synonymous with team leaders. If you are riding as part of a team, click on the ticket captain dropdown to see if your team leader is listed. If s/he is, highlight their name and your registration will be linked in our system. If you are team leader and wish to be listed, please make a comment in the "Additional Info" section of the registration form and we will add your name. Your team members can then link to you when registering.
How do I register with a team or as a team leader?
When registering, please use the additional information section of the registration page to include your team name or indicate if you are a team leader.
Why did the fee structure change from previous years?
The fee structure has been revised to maintain affordability to riders while encouraging riders to explore fundraising as part of their involvement. The Cycle for Haylee Committee met several times to discuss the fee structure of the 2009 event and developed the current format. The primary goal of the Cycle for Haylee is to raise much-needed funds to support the science that is working toward finding the cure for CF. We are hopeful that the current registration options make it possible for everyone to ride, while still fulfilling the ultimate objective of the event.
Is there a minimum fundraising amount for the $75 level?
The $75 “Option 2” registration level does not require riders to commit to a minimum fundraising goal. However, we encourage all riders to use the online fundraising tools that have been developed to ask friends and family to support them.
What happened to the “team rider” option?
We have streamlined the registration options and encourage all team members to register in the category that best fits their needs.
Can I still form a team?
Absolutely. Teams have helped us grow the Cycle for Haylee to new heights over the past few years. The online registration process includes new tools to help you organize your returning team or to help you form a new team.
Where can I get help helpful hints to assist me in my fundraising effort?

If I can’t fundraise and can’t afford the registration fees, how can I still participate in the Cycle for Haylee?
If you are unable to ride for any reason and wish to participate, the Cycle for Haylee is always on the look out for volunteers to help us run the event. Please contact Amy Varrell for more information on volunteering.
If I don’t reach my fundraising goal, can I still ride in the event?
Yes. The Cycle for Haylee does not mandate any fundraising minimums and we will never charge your credit card to ensure you meet your goal. We strongly encourage ALL riders to fundraise and provide online tools to make the effort easier. However, we understand that fundraising can be challenging. We hope our riders will set their goals high and make every effort to meet them. Every dollar counts toward finding the cure for CF. Do your best and then come ride with us.
