Long Distance Tire and Bernardi Auto Group joined us again in 2009, making it 8 years of support each! In 2009, Bernard Auto Group posted the ride on their employee website and offered to donate the registration fees for all interested employee riders. Fallon Community Health Plan was on board for their 5th year in 2009.

Rider News
In 2009, Allie Castillo set her fundraising goals high and after only ten days of online fundraising, she had raised more than $1,000. She continued to work hard and raised over $2,600! At 12 years old, Allie rode in honor of her sister. On her web page she sweetly says “Although she (her sister) appears to most people to be healthy, she must spend 1 1/2 to 4 hours daily to keep herself that way.” Despite the rain on October 3rd, Allie completed the 12-mile route with her riding partner, her Dad, Robert. Congratulations to you Allie for doing what you can to keep her healthy too. Our shared mission to cure and control CF is not just important, it is essential.
